Nestled in the heart of Palestrina, the hotel offers a convenient location close to numerous bars and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring Il Tempio della Fortuna. While the furnishings are somewhat dated, this old-fashioned decor adds a rustic character that some may find appealing. The warm welcome from the proprietress set a positive tone, although clearer parking directions in English would enhance the experience for international travelers. It's worth noting that the hotel now has parking restrictions, but the staff was quick to assist in finding a suitable spot. Amenities like a bar lounge area, in-room breakfast options, and impeccable housekeeping are commendable. While one might expect some luxury features commonly found in high-end lodgings, the Stella certainly delivers on the essentials. If you're seeking an authentic Italian experience in a central location, Stella is a sound choice for a balanced travel budget.
